I am not a large company with ample resources. I am a single individual with a dream—to create something fun and unique that everyone can enjoy. My project, the Galactic Getaway UFO, is a passion project that I believe can bring joy and wonder to many.

If I had the financial means, I would build the Galactic Getaway UFO on my own. However, the costs are beyond what I can manage alone, which is why I have turned to crowdfunding.

Crowdfunding platforms such as Indiegogo allows individuals like myself, who do not have the upfront funds, to bring creative ideas to life with the support of a community. It is a way to gather the necessary resources to turn a vision into reality, relying on the collective effort of those who believe in the project.

There have been several successful hotel style campaigns developed from crowdfunding. 

The amount you pay on Indiegogo is not a donation. With your contribution, you are securing a reservation for your stay or for one of our several fun UFO themed rewards. 

Unlike a donation, which is typically a contribution made without expectation of receiving anything in return, your payment ensures that you will receive the best discounted rate for your stay. 

Because this is where I live. While a large company might consider more tourist-heavy or warm tropical locations, my roots are here, and I want to contribute to my local community. 

Dayton is also an ideal location for a UFO, given its connection to the decades-old rumor about the Hangar at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. I believe this project can add a unique attraction to our area.

Simply put, because it isn’t built yet. Once construction begins, I will definitely be posting pictures of the interior and exterior along the way.

The UFO home can accommodate up to 4 people. It features 2 bedrooms, making it suitable for a small family or group of friends looking for a unique and cozy accommodation experience. 

Each bedroom provides comfortable sleeping arrangements, ensuring that guests can enjoy a restful stay while immersing themselves in the futuristic ambiance of the UFO.

The Galactic Getaway UFO is expected to be open by October 2024. Galactic Getaway booking is based on VIP Access Level and Length of Stay.
